Despite everything Sandra’s put her through, blood is thicker than water where Liv is concerned – so now that her mum is back in her life, she’s determined to do whatever she can to help her beat her demons. But this week, it becomes clear the kind-hearted lass could be in way over her head…
Having initially claimed that she just wants her daughter’s help in beating the booze, Sandra eventually comes clean and admits that she owes £4000 to a man named Terry. Liv is frustrated by her lies and bad judgment, but Sandra’s adamant that this time, she’s the victim. After much soul-searching, Liv agrees to let her stay and blocks Terry’s number, but there’s a hint that Sandra’s not being entirely honest…
However, while they may be soft-hearted, Liv and Vinny aren’t fools and they soon become suspicious of Sandra’s behaviour. As they start to wonder whether she can really be trusted, a menacing Terry arrives in the village and, storming into Mill Cottage, confronts his ex and demands what he’s owed.
Now convinced that her mother is truly in danger, Liv offers to repay the money and Terry wastes no time in agreeing to her proposition, seemingly glad to be rid of Sandra for good. Mandy’s taken aback when Vinny tells her that Liv’s mum has moved in indefinitely, but decides to put the past behind them and offers her a job at the salon. Bernice is less than impressed, but could Sandra really have turned over a new leaf?
