Stephen Lawrence BAFTA screening
01 March 2012
There will be a special charity screening of Panorama’s Stephen Lawrence: A Time For Justice at BAFTA in London on Saturday, 10 March.
The screening, in aid of The Stephen Lawrence Trust, will be followed by a Q&A with Stephen’s mother Doreen Lawrence, his brother Stuart Lawrence, the family’s solicitor Imran Khan, and BBC reporter Mark Daly.
Television journalist Rageh Omaar will chair the discussion, which will cover the Lawrence family’s struggle, institutional racism, and the power of investigative television to bring about change.
Tickets for the event, which is open to the general public, are priced £10. The screening starts at 6.30pm in the Princess Anne Theatre, BAFTA, Piccadilly, London W1.
