Ugly Betty's Justin comes to town!
London with its fabulous shopping and West End theatres is just the sort of place that Ugly Betty’s camp Justin Suarez would love. But although Betty’s fashion-loving nephew Justin wasn’t in town, American Mark Indelicato who plays him, was in the capital to see in the new year with his parents.
On a particularly cold and rainy Tuesday morning it was a welcome relief to meet up with Mark in the dry and warmth of the business lounge of his hotel, the Art Deco-style Thistle March that overlooks Oxford Street. While other guests chatted on their mobiles and tinkered on their laptops, Mark’s parents sat on a nearby table as he perched on a sofa and discussed the fourth series of Ugly Betty with TV Choice, in which he co-stars with America Ferrera. The new series is already being shown in America and should be on our screens later this year. Without giving too much away, bullying is going to be a big theme.
In true Justin style Mark also revealed he had taken in a bit of musical theatre during his second ever trip to Britain, going to see Sister Act the night before. And there had been plenty of shopping too along Oxford Street and Harrods, with his proudest purchase a Burberry jumper!
