Since bursting onto our screens in August 2010, Coronation Street’s Paula Lane has made a big impact as the tearaway half-sister who makes wayward Becky seem sane. Selling her son, blackmailing Audrey – no action has proved too outrageous for the character proving to be Gail’s daughter-in-law from hell.
‘I’m completely overwhelmed. When I first started in Corrie, I was nominated really quickly for awards and it was like, ‘Oh my God, I don’t know if I can do this.’ But it kind of made me rise to the challenge. I had to make that impact, especially working with Kate Kelly as well, because she’s fantastic, and she’s going to leave such a legacy,’ says Paula Lane.
